What Sero is

Sero ("we", "us") is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking app operated by Tukod Studio. Sero is a manual tracker. It does not connect to your bank, does not move money, and is not a financial institution.

Information we collect

We only collect what you give us when you use the app:

• Account info — your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name and photo.
• Financial entries you type in — transactions, budgets, savings goals, bills, accounts, and categories. These are amounts and labels you enter manually; we never see your real bank data.
• Profile photo — only if you choose to upload one.
• Preferences — currency, theme, and similar settings.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing history. Sero contains no ads and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

Our website at sero.tukod.studio uses privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and see which sites people arrived from. It sets no cookies, builds no profile, and records nothing that identifies you. The app itself remains free of any analytics.

App Lock (PIN and Face ID)

If you enable App Lock, your PIN is stored only on your device as a salted hash and is never sent to our servers. Face ID and fingerprint unlock happen entirely on your device through the operating system, so we never receive or store your biometric data.

Where your data is stored

Your account and financial entries are stored securely with Supabase (our database and authentication provider), protected by row-level security so only your account can read your data. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

How we use your data

• To run the app, showing your balances, budgets, goals, and reminders.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To manage your subscription if you upgrade to Premium.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing profiles. Ever.

Payments

Premium subscriptions purchased in the iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card or payment details. We only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.

Data export and deletion

• Export — you can export all your data as a JSON file from Full Profile at any time.
• Deletion — tap your avatar on the home screen, open Full Profile, and scroll to the very bottom for Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and everything in it from our servers and cannot be undone. Children

Sero is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the effective date above and note it in the app's "What's new". Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
