Terms of Service

1. What Sero is (and isn't)

Sero is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking app. All amounts in Sero are entered manually by you and exist for your own tracking. Sero is not a bank, e-wallet, lender, investment platform, or financial adviser, and nothing in the app is financial advice.

2. Your account

You need an account (email and password, or Google) to use Sero. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You must be at least 13 years old. One person per account, and Sero is for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Free plan and Premium

Sero's free plan includes generous limits, such as a capped number of savings goals, budgets, bills, and credit cards, while transactions are unlimited. Sero Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that removes those limits and unlocks additional features. Current limits and prices are always shown in the app before you pay.

Subscriptions purchased on iOS or Android are billed and renewed through your Apple or Google account. You can cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.

4. Your data

Your entries belong to you. You can export them anytime, and you can permanently delete your account and data from inside the app. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

6. Accuracy disclaimer

Sero's balances, charts, and reminders are calculated from what you enter. They may not match your real bank balances, and you should not rely on them as the sole record for financial, tax, or legal purposes.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Sero running, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may update, change, or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tukod Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change and significant updates will be noted in the app. Continued use means acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
