Common questions

Does Sero connect to my bank?

No. Sero never links to a bank, never moves money, and is not a financial institution. You type in what you spend and earn, and Sero keeps the picture clear. That also means no bank login of yours ever touches the app.

I forgot my app PIN

On the lock screen, tap Forgot PIN. That signs you out and clears the lock. Sign back in with your email and password and your data is all still there. The PIN is stored only on your device, so nobody, including us, can look it up for you.

How do I back up or move my data?

Open Profile and use Export to save a full backup as a file. You can import that file later, on the same phone or a new one.

How do I delete my account?

Tap your avatar on the home screen, then Full Profile, and scroll to the very bottom for Delete Account. It is immediate and permanent, so export a backup first if you might want your history later. If you only want a clean slate, Reset Data sits just above it and keeps your account. Full instructions, including what to do if you cannot sign in, are on the account deletion page.

Can I change my currency?

Yes. Currency lives in Profile and Sero supports 19 of them. Changing it updates how amounts are displayed. It does not convert the numbers you have already entered.

Is my data private?

Your entries are stored on your own account and protected so that only you can read them. The app itself has no ads and no tracking or analytics SDKs at all. This website counts page views and where visitors came from, with no cookies and nothing tied to a person. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Something looks wrong or the app crashed

Please email us with your phone model, what you were doing, and a screenshot if you have one. That is usually enough to find it fast. Fixes reach you automatically, without needing a store update.
