Delete your account
How to permanently remove your Sero account and everything in it.
Delete it yourself, in under a minute
This is the fastest way, and it happens immediately with nobody else involved.
- Open Sero and sign in.
- On the home screen, tap your avatar in the top right of the balance card. The side panel opens.
- Tap Full Profile at the bottom of that panel.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Delete Account, below Sign out and Reset Data.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no undo.
Ask us to delete it
If you have uninstalled Sero or cannot get into your account, email us from the address your account uses so we can tell it is you.
We verify the request and delete the account within a few business days.
Everything, with nothing kept back
- Your profile: name, email and photo
- Every transaction, budget, savings goal, bill and account
- Your own categories, funds and preferences
- Any feedback you sent us, and the screenshots attached to it
- Your sign-in record, so you would need to sign up again to use Sero
Nothing is retained afterwards and no backup keeps deleted data past the request.
One thing deletion does not do: if you subscribed to Premium, cancel that separately in the App Store or Google Play. Those subscriptions belong to the store, not to Sero, so deleting your account here does not stop the billing.
You can wipe your data and keep the account
If you only want to start over, Reset Data sits directly above Delete Account in Full Profile. It clears your transactions, budgets, goals, bills and accounts, and leaves your sign-in, currency and plan alone.
